St. Vincent de Paul / Food Pantry & Assistance

St. Louis Catholic Parish has its own St. Vincent de Paul Society that tends to the needy in our church and in our immediate community. They are seeking individuals to assist in the distribution of food parcels and other assistance to the needy in our area. Volunteers need to be available one weekday afternoon -- between 2:30pm and 3:30pm. Time required: one to two hours per week. For more information, contact St. Vincent de Paul via their voice mail 586-468-8734 x-106.

If you wish to help, but can not spare the time:

  • Collection for the Area needy takes place the first full weekend of every month.
  • If you have donations of clothes and/or furniture, we ask that you take these items to the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store.

If you are in need of assistance:

The volunteers are only available Monday thru Friday from 2:30pm-3:30pm. You can leave a message on their voicemail at 586-468-8734 x-106.

Do not email the Parish Office or ask the office personnel for assistance. You must speak to a St. Vincent de Paul volunteer directly.

Help is provided based on the funds available to this particular chapter of the society and whether or not you live in the boundaries of our SVdP Chapter.
